Haily's Pet Pardise Reviews Updates

It's Haily's Fault she broke her leg!

Pet Paradise Reviews

Pet Paradise Reviews8/28/24 -Yes they actually are blaming Haily for breaking her own leg.  When we leave our pets or kids in someone else’s care we expect a safe environment.  This is like saying the baby broke their arm alone in the crib and it is their fault.

Haily is recovering.  We are now almost 2 weeks from the date she broke her leg.  She has been depressed since she cannot do anything.

  • She cannot go on the walks that she loves
  • She cannot play with her sister
  • She is on a leash the entire day
  • She is on many drugs for pain and inflamation
  • She cannot go lay in the yard and watch people
  • She cannot play catch and retrieve toys

She has 8-10 more weeks of this.  We bought a utility cart to take her out of the house and it does perk her up.  She gets to enjoy different smells and see other people and dogs.  Friday she has her first check up with the orthopedic surgeon.

Trip Insurance DENIED

Our trip insurance claim is denied.  Don’t be tricked by insurance!  Your family dog injury is not covered.  You are just supposed to leave them.

Generali Global Assistance & Insurance Services represents Generali U.S. Branch as the administrator of the travel protection plan that was selected. We have completed our review of your claim for Trip Cancellation benefits.

According to the information provided, your trip was cancelled as a result of the injury of your family dog. The policy states, “The Sickness, Injury or death of you, your Family Member, your Traveling Companion or your Service Animal. The Sickness or Injury must require the in-person treatment by a Physician, and must be so disabling in the written opinion of a Physician as to prevent you from taking your Trip (either because your condition prevents your travel, or because your Family Member, Traveling Companion or your Service Animal requires your care).”

The policy defines a Service Animal as “any guide dog, signal dog, or other animal individually trained to work or perform tasks for the beneft of an individual with a disability, including, but not limited to, guiding persons with impaired vision, alerting persons with impaired hearing to intruders or sounds, providing animal protection or rescue work, pulling a wheelchair, or fetching dropped items.”

The plan purchased only provides benefits if your loss is due to the sickness or death of a service animal. Unfortunately, a family pet is not covered under the plan. Therefore, no benefits are payable for your claim.

Please refer to your Description of Coverage or Travel Insurance Policy to “SERVICE ANIMAL” under the heading “DEFINITIONS” and to “Covered Events:” under the heading “TRIP CANCELLATION BENEFIT ” for further coverage details.
